El mundo de los auriculares hoy en día ofrece muchas opciones a un precio muy asequible y con muy buena calidad de sonido. El problema de hoy en día es ver cual se adapta mejor a nuestras necesidades, tanto en su calidad sonora, así como el tipo de sonido que más nos guste y finalmente por lo que podemos gastarnos.

Y dentro de esta variedad acaban de llegar unos auriculares de tipo abierto con una muy buena relación calidad/precio. Se trata de los HarmonicDyne Helios, unos auriculares abiertos que cubren por completo nuestra oreja. El cable que tiene es extraible con conexión de jack 3,5 independiente en cada copa, por lo que podríamos comprar un cable balanceado si así lo quisiéramos. Lo que no nos incluye es un adaptador de jack 3,5mm a 6,3mm que usualmente suelen venir en casi todos los auriculares de este tipo, aunque seguramente tendréis alguno en casa. Si no tenéis este tipo de adaptadores no suelen ser muy caros de todas formas.

Como os he dicho estos auriculares son de tipo abierto, por lo que se escuchará en el exterior parte de lo que estemos escuchando. Esto puede ser un problema para algunos, así que debemos de tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de elegir o no estos auriculares.

En cuanto a su construcción estos Helios nos frecen materiales como el plástico, metal, madera de nogal, velur y polipiel. El plástico se encuentra en la diadema, el metal tanto en las copas como en la diadema, la madera en la diadema y supuestamente en las copas, el velur en las almohadillas de las copas y la polipiel en la zona superior de la diadema. Me he referido a la madera como supuestamente en las copas porque me da la sensación que no es madera, aunque no soy un experto en este tipo de temas por lo que daremos por cierta la información que nos da el fabricante.

Y aunque su construcción es buena llega a tener pequeños detalles que podrían mejorarse, como el acabado de la parte exterior de los drivers que si pasamos el dedo por encima notaremos que el corte podría haberse hecho más suave. O que incluso a veces esa zona exterior suene un poco al apretarla, aunque eso no ocurre al escuchar música o caminar con ellos.

En cuanto a su comodidad me parece bastante buena. Se pueden usar durante mas de 3 o 4 horas sin que lleguen a molestar ni la diadema ni las almohadillas. No ejercen mucha presión en las orejas por lo que eso ayuda a su comodidad, y el hecho de que las almohadillas sean cómodas e incluso intercambiables, nos abre la posibilidad de usar propias o alguna de las que han vendido en un pack de almohadillas de distintos tipos. Estos Helios pesan 360 gramos sin el cable por lo aún usando materiales como el metal no son muy pesados.

Esto quiere decir que los agudos y graves tienen mayor presencia pero sin tapar en exceso los medios. Así que su sonido es divertido y no tendremos fatiga alguna a la hora de usarlos ya que los agudos están bastante bien controlados y son los graves los que están más potenciados. Y lo que me ha sorprendido es su gran escena sonora, mayor que otros auriculares de precio superior como los Hifiman HE400i o los Verum 1. Su rango sonoro va entre los 10Hz a los 40kHz lo que nos ofrece un rango sonoro mayor que el que podría escuchar la media humana. Su impedancia es de 16 ohms por lo que podremos usarlos en cualquier dispositivo sin problemas.
